CBS 2 News did a report on the 115 girls (either pregnant or already mothers) out of 800 total girls at Paul Robeson Highschool in Chicago, Ill (My Hometown). One in eight of their students are pregnant.
My opinion: WTF. What ever happened to condoms? If you see a large population of your friends knocked up, wouldn't that turn you away from having unsafe sex? But of course who am I to say. lol
Wow, only really comes to mind I mean come on. That's turning into a PROBLEM so big that they want to make a daycare across the street from the school just to help out people who don't think about what they are doing. It's wrong but it's self-less, and I do like a self-less thought..Just wow..
That's awful. But it could just as easily have been this SHS. How hard is it to use protection? Do they think its cool to be knocked up? I just don't get it
Girls get confused with whats acceptable. They think its ok to sleep around and get knocked up because plenty of others have been known to do and have been almost glorified for being a teenage mother. I mean, why not wait? Focus on getting your license, a job, a new car, a good college. The baby can always come later.
I don't discriminate against teenage mothers because its possible to happen to anyone. But please see the warnings guys... and take caution.
